MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

The practical terms, explained in plain language.

This page is the patient-friendly summary of how AtlasMen memberships are intended to work. The final Membership Agreement will contain the binding terms.

Clarity before commitment.

Prices, consultation allowances and some operational rules have not yet been finalized. Draft wording below identifies the intended approach and the decisions that must be confirmed before launch.

Membership term

Each AtlasMen membership is intended to run for a 12-month benefit period beginning on the activation date, unless the enrollment materials state otherwise. Final binding language will appear in the Membership Agreement.

Monthly versus annual billing

Members may be offered annual payment or monthly installments. Where monthly installments are a payment arrangement for an annual commitment rather than a month-to-month membership, this will be stated prominently before purchase.

Automatic renewal

The proposed model is automatic renewal for another membership term unless renewal is cancelled before the renewal date. The renewal date, fee and reminder schedule will be disclosed before enrollment and confirmed in the agreement.

Cancellation policy

Members will be able to stop future automatic renewal. The policy will distinguish cancelling renewal from ending an active, already-paid membership term.

Refunds and prorating

The final policy will identify any cooling-off period, when a refund may be available, how used consultations or benefits affect the calculation, and circumstances in which AtlasMen ends the membership.

Unused consultations

Consultations included in a membership are intended for use during the applicable membership year. Unless the final agreement states otherwise, unused consultations will not roll over, have cash value or transfer to another person.

Rescheduling and missed appointments

The proposed policy permits rescheduling without charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may count toward the included allowance or incur the published fee, subject to the final policy.

Laboratory work

Laboratory testing is not included unless a particular benefit expressly says it is. Some testing may be publicly insured or privately covered; other testing may require direct payment. The clinician will explain recommended testing and anticipated costs where known.

Medication costs

Prescription and non-prescription products are not included unless expressly stated. Coverage, dispensing fees, insurance rules, exclusions and permitted member pricing may apply. Membership never guarantees a prescription.

Additional consultations

After using the included allowance, members may be able to purchase additional consultations at the published member rate, subject to availability, clinical appropriateness and the final membership rules.

When clinical needs exceed the allowance

Consultation allowances do not override appropriate clinical decision-making. Options may include an additional consultation, a higher membership tier, primary-care follow-up, urgent care, in-person assessment or referral to another service.

Non-membership services

AtlasMen is intended to operate primarily through membership. Any non-member pathway required or offered will be described clearly, including availability, fees and the circumstances in which it applies.

Insured and uninsured services

Membership fees apply only to benefits expressly identified in the selected plan. Publicly insured services, uninsured services, medication, retail products and third-party charges will be identified separately in accordance with the final legal and clinical model.
